DIY Valentine Cards for Kids!

I am NOT a crafty person!  Ain't no one got time for that.  But I never want to let my kids down.  So when they come home with notices from their school saying that if they bring one Valentine card, they have to bring one for everyone, I panic a little.  But then I remember.  I am a freaking Blogger!  I can do hard things.  I got this!  Canva to the rescue!

I took pictures of their faces.

In the same spot.

Used Canva to make graphics out of their pictures and added text and VOILA!  Valentine Cards you can't buy at a store and don't have to spend HOURS over!

(since he IS wearing a Ninjago shirt!)

But I decided I didn't like S's picture so I used an older one but did the same thing!

Easy peasy right?  You have an unique souvenir and an unique card.  I like to go to the Costco PhotoCenter on line and get wallet sizes made out of them.  I am paying $6.74 for in-store pickup next day!

So, you should go make your own!  You have plenty of time.  That's the beauty of this project.  You can be last minute if you want!  I hope you share some of your DIY Valentine designs with me!

As always, I wish you Happy Feet,
SD Mom

  1. Nice job! I haven't even thought about Valentine's cards for B yet. Ooops but then again we usually buy a box of them from the store.

  2. What an adorable idea! Love that this one involves pics and not a bunch of cutting, pasting and decorating. I'm probably the least crafty person out there but I think even I could handle this :)
