#Spring4prAna Mantra Pant Calypsa Top Review AND a prAna discount code!

If you have been reading this blog for more than a minute, you know how much I love prAna!  You can read about it here, here and here!  I wear a prAna item almost daily.  Today's post is about their spring line - specifically, the Mantra pants and the Calypsa top.

 

We really do have the best sunsets on the coast!  Something about the water meeting the colorful sky...The other night, I had the honor of attending an Epilepsy Foundation dinner to raise awareness and share fundraising ideas.  You may recognize the poster models?
 

 

And I wore the most comfortable pants in the world - Mantra. The Halle pant used to be my favorite but these are like butter!  Both of the items I received to try are made out of hemp. 

Why is this important?  Hemp is pretty awesome and you can read about it here.  Basically, it is super sustainable, doesn't need pesticides and it is drought resistant.

 

The pants have a draw string and are made out of hemp. The material doesn't feel stretchy but they are lightweight and move with you. Mantra pants have a relaxed fit and perfect for spring into summer because of their weight!

 
 

Yes, I did an impromptu photo shoot at the hotel where the event was being held. Haha!  Full disclosure: I have worn the pants at least 4 more times in various situations, including work!

Next, I was also sent the Calypsa top. It comes in three colors and is made of a thicker material. It is made out of organic cotton hemp stretch slub jersey blend (say that 6 times fast)!  The breakdown is 53% Hemp / 42% Organic Cotton / 5% Spandex. It even has a built in bra. So perfect for a hike but also for work!

And even under a suit for work. Because of the heavier material, my shirt did not budge all day under the suit. It's one of my pet peeves when an under shirt doesn't stay put!  This shirt is soft and oh so comfortable!
