Friday Fascinations: 5 Reasons you should run the Run for the White House 4 Miler!

Happy Friday friends!  This Friday Five post will be a little more light hearted than the last one I did. My Runfessions?  If you missed it, check it out here.  But warning: I was REAL!

Today, I am linking up with MarCourtney and Cynthia - AKA the DC Trifecta, Nicole for Fit & Fashionable Friday and Jill for Fitness, Health & Happiness Link-Up!

I am bringing you 5 reasons why you should run the "Run for the White House 4 Miler."

1.  You get to be OH SO SUBTLE about your political views because you get your choice of a red or blue tank.  In case you didn't know, you can look here to see what each color signifies!  I chose blue.

2.  A percentage of your race fee will be donated to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, a leader in supporting the men and women of the United States Armed Forces and their families.

3.  You get a super cool swinging medal!

4.  You get a cool button!

5.  Because 4 miles is a really cool race distance and most likely, you will PR it because you have never done that distance before!

Disclaimer: As a Gone for a Run ambassador, I was given a free entry in exchange for a blog post.  All opinions are my own and I was not compensated in any other way.

So, who is with me?  Anyone ever done a Gone for a Run Virtual Race before?  Which color tank would you choose??

As always, I wish you Happy Feet,
SD Mom

  7. That's a cute race theme! As much as I hate politics during an election year, it's a fun race idea :)
