Get the Right Bra: a Freya Lingerie fitting

Disclaimer: This post is sponsored by Eveden Lingerie.  While I did receive a complimentary bra sample, all opinions are my own.  I was not compensated in any other way.  Male readers, you may not want to read the rest of this post!

Chances are you are wearing the wrong bra size. Chances are this will make your clothes fit wrong and worst of all, make your run painful.

I have discussed this before. If I forget my Garmin or my favorite tank or even my beloved Spandits, I can still run. But being a bigger chested girl, I CAN'T run without the right sports bra.

I had an amazing opportunity to work with Eveden Lingerie and experience a REAL bra fitting.

I got to pick a friend to go with me and as always, I chose Melissa, my blogging partner in crime and fellow big chested runner!

We had a BLAST!  Weird right?  Who has fun with a bra fitting?!  Well take a seat!

We were led by Carali (the Eveden Lingerie fit expert) and Stevie, the Fashion Valley Nordstrom rep, into a pretty cool fitting room.

Here they are!

Caralie, Me & Stevie

And they got right to work!

Turns out there is a lot about bra fitting you don't know. Or at least, I didn't know.

Here are the 3 steps to a PERFECT fit:

Believe me, I had no idea. In fact, Carali took one look at the bra that I wore to the fitting and said absolutely not. Haha!  She was awesome!  She had me and Melissa in stitches the whole time.  She even brought us champagne (which we couldn't open in store)!

She fitted us both with Freya Active bras since she knew that we liked to "jump around" as she put it.

And let me tell you, it felt better almost immediately. It actually fit. Nothing digging in. No double breast. It was the right size and that already felt amazing.  It felt like it was woven with air due to their special spacer fabric.

She even fitted us with regular bras including the Freya Patsy bra. So cute and comfortable and we each got to take one home in our correct size.  (Side Note:  My correct size is CRAZY!  Trust me, you need to know your right size to finally feel comfortable)

You would be amazed at how good a real bra can feel when it is the right size.

So good you may want to break out the bottle of bubbly!  Or enjoy a cookie, a cupcake AND some bubbly with a good friend!

So just tell yourself that you are worth it and you deserve a good bra fitting and a glass of Proseco!

Have you ever had your bra size determined by a professional?  Have you tried Freya Sports or regular bras?  Oh and if you are looking for awesome coupon codes for Nordstrom, try this page: http://verified.codes/Nordstrom!

As always, I wish you Happy ...ahem... Feet,
SD Mom

  1. Wow they look really comfortable - what an experience. I am in the market for new sports bras - Nike isn't cutting it anymore (but too late to try anything new at this point).

    1. At the very least, you HAVE to go find your right size. I was shocked at my REAL size! It just means I need to go bra shopping now. Haha

  2. Good for you. I go about every 2 years for bra fitting & it is such a great process & so important. Not sure why so many women don't do it!
I get fitted at Nordstrom, buy 1 & then keep my eye out at Nordstrom Rack for the same bra at a cheaper price.

  4. Finding the right sports bra is so important! I'm a D cup so I need a whole lot of support lol. I found an Under Armour bra that fit me very well and I literally bought 5 - all different colors! :)

  5. Yay for a proper fitting bra! I have absolutely NO tatas but still can't find a bra that fits properly. Most of them are too big in the cups or too small around my chest. I need to really get measured and start investing in some quality ones!
