Welcome to Day 10 of 11 Days of Giving! Thank you so much to Medi-Dyne but most of all, thank you for you! What a great end to the year giving away 11 of my very favorites!
I am an Ambassador for Medi-Dyne. Have you heard of them? Chances are you have heard of their brands including Sport Shield and Pro Stretch +plus. I have raved about Sport Shield and how I never chafe. Well, they make other amazing products including Pro Stretch +plus.
From their website: "proven to provide a deep, effective stretch that increases flexibility along the entire inter-connective chain, soothing tight calves, strengthening weak Achilles tendons and foot muscles - delivering the flexibility needed for lasting relief."
Haha! Even Furry Murray is interested. You can check out this video to see what it is all about.
But here is the thing. I have shin splints. And I have started using this little device and I already notice a huge difference. It also helps with tight calfs, hamstrings, Achilles tendonitis and plantar issues. It is essentially a DEEP stretch for your legs. You can read more about it here.
So now I have a Pro Stretch +plus to giveaway to a lucky winner. So awesome! Enter on the Rafflecopter widget!

I've had Plantar Fasciitis on numerous occasions and have dealt with a bad case of shin splits one time. My feet seem sensitive but feel better when they get stretched. I usually do a wall lean or downward dog. Its important to stretch the calf thoroughly because some foot problems can be caused by tightness in that area.
ReplyDeleteI've only had shin splits when I first started running. I really didn't know a lot about running then so just waited for pain to go away. This looks like a really cool device and I've never seen anything like it. Lately I've had a little bit of pain under my foot on the outside and I think this could help stretch it out.
ReplyDeleteThis little device looks cool - I've never heard of it before! I'm all for trying anything to help improve my running :)
ReplyDeleteOMG I wonder if this would help with my insanely tight soleus issues!!!
ReplyDeleteI usually recover from injury with ice, stretching, and rest. My feet get sore and I've dealt with shin and calf pain. .. would love to win this! Thanks for the giveaway
ReplyDeleteThis is cool! What a great product!
ReplyDeletevery cool! there's always SOMETHING that needs some TLC -- LOL
ReplyDeleteWhen I started running, Plantar Faciitis showed up in both my feet (worse in my left foot). When I finally went to the doctor, she told me I needed proper running shoes via a running shoe store, suggested inserts for my shoes, wear shoes with good support (not my "cute" shoes) and gave me exercises I could do for strengthening and lessening my pain/discomfort.
ReplyDeleteI have some shin issues too but I'd love to use this to stretch my calves!
ReplyDeleteStretching and rest when your body tells you that you need it!
ReplyDeletethis is so cool! I've had shin splints when I started running and when my shoes have been worn out. I've been dealing with tendonitis and I think this might help!
ReplyDeleteI have Achilles tendonitis. This would so helpful!
ReplyDeleteThis would be so helpful! I'm currently dealing with calf and it band issues.
ReplyDeleteMy husband usually just massages me- lol
ReplyDeleteIf it's a serious injury, I recover by doing whatever the doctor recommends. I haven't had shin splints in a while but I would love to try the Pro Stretch. I get tight calves.
ReplyDeleteI work to prevent shin splints with tape and compression...seems like a great tool to lessen my dependence on other methods.
ReplyDeleteI usually roll with a foam roller and use compression socks for recovery.
ReplyDeleteI've always followed the RICE acronym for recovering from an injury...rest/ice/compression/compression/elevation. The pro-stretch looks awesome--would love to win one to try it out!
ReplyDeleteI am always looking for ways to stretch since I, too, get shin splints. Usually I use a foam roller.
ReplyDeleteSeriously need the Pro Stretch for my calves. When the tighten up my whole leg feels it especially my lower shins. Injured? Whatever the doc recommends, time and stay as active as you safely can. That's my secret formula to not going crazy when you can't run due to an injury :)
ReplyDeleteI mostly recover with "The Stick", The Grid Foam Roller and downward dog. I stopped getting such tight calves after doing yoga more frequently. My hubby could totally use this, because he has plantar issues!
ReplyDeleteI use one of these at PT it helped so much! now need to invest unless I win!
ReplyDeleteI have had shin splints. I was horrible at doing ant stretching before or after my runs ands workouts and that leg to injury. I'm better at it now. I rely a lot on my foam roller.
ReplyDeleteI've had shin splints before and had to taper off on my running workouts for a while. I could use the Pro Stretch for all kinds of stretching related to running. I have some random soreness in my arches right now...
ReplyDeleteStretching
ReplyDeleteYes - ice baths
This would be great for my hamstrings
I need this for my tight calves. They are horrible!!!! I had shin splints before from overstriding.
ReplyDeleteI have had some issues with shin splints. Time and rest is the best recovery.
ReplyDeleteI could DEFINITELY use this to help relive my Plantar Fasciitis once and for all! As always, great giveaways! ;)
ReplyDeleteI've never had shin splints. Wish I could help you out. What I do, unfortunately, have experience with is PF. Months of stretching, toe/foot strengthening exercises, and frozen water bottles seems to have done the trick.
ReplyDeleteI've never had shin splints, but occasionally my Plantar Fascitis flares up so I could use this! This type of exercise works the best of all!

Foam rolling has been my best recovery tool
ReplyDeleteI recover reluctantly by resting.
ReplyDeleteCONNIE = Rose
ReplyDeleteRest and elevation of the injured area has helped me the most to recover. I need this for my feet and my daughter's feet. We both had surgery on our feet.
Hmm it appears like your site ate my first comment (it
ReplyDeletewas extremely long) so I guess I'll just sum it up what I wrote
and say, I'm thoroughly enjoying your blog. I too am an aspiring blog writer but I'm still new to everything.
Do you have any tips for inexperienced blog writers? I'd definitely appreciate it.
