The San Diego Kids Expo & Fair is right around the corner and it promises to be a blast again this year! I was supposed to go last year but something came up (doesn't it always) and we couldn't go. UGH! But this year, come what may, I am taking my babies to this event.
Have you heard of it? There is always so much to do for the entire family! There is music, sports, games and even cooking classes for the whole family on Saturday April 25 and Sunday April 26! They have added a new venue called Playland for kids SDKidz age - 2-10 yeas old! It will have mini laser tag, carnival games and even bubble suits. All free with a $5 admission!
There is a 200' zip line. And even a balloon pit. You have heard of a ball pit...this is so much better. A balloon pit?? Kids can climb the coconut tree and try out the brand new GyroExtreme (it has nothing to do with Greek food!). Face painting, electric trains and so much more.
There will be nearly 200 booths from 10 am to 5 pm on both days with every kind of information you could need as a parent. Almost. $8 for adults and kids 12 and under are free. There is a $5 charge for kids in Playland for unlimited use.
So locals SoCal readers, want to win your own admission? I am giving away 2 adult tickets to either Saturday OR Sunday's Expo. Remember, kids 12 and under are free! We can make a day of it!

I remember missing it last year, and I'm out of town that weekend. So bummed.
ReplyDeleteSaw so many fun Facebook posts from this event last year, we will be sure to attend for sure.
ReplyDeleteLove San Diego. We truly have it all. Mountain, beach, city life, and tons of active people. This expo sounds amazing and I would take my whole family on Sunday. Have a nice day Smitha!
ReplyDeleteThe best part of S.D. is the beaches! My son loves going to the beach and chasing waves and birds. I haven't taken him to the Kids Expo yet; he would have a blast! My husband and I would go either Sat or Sun and take our 5yr old. We're expecting baby #2 in June so we're doing fun family stuff before I get too huge. :)
ReplyDeleteI have family coming in from Philadelphia to celebrate my son's birthday. I have taken time off work to show them a good time in SD (easy-peasy!). They are bringing my niece (7) and nephew (4) so my kids are super excited to play with their cousins. What I love about SD is that there is so much for everyone to do! The kids can enjoy Legoland, the zoo and WAP, the adults can catch a show at Belly Up (The Dead Milkmen are playing on the 24th!) and my folks love to catch a play and dinner at the Lawrence Welk Resort, and we all enjoy the beaches and fabulous weather! We are planning on going to the Kids Expo for the first time and I think all of the kids will love it. We plan to take the whole crew on Saturday, April 25th so two free tickets would be super! My fingers are crossed that I get picked! Thanks!
