The Bravest Girl I Know and a Words to Sweat By review and GIVEAWAY!

Disclaimer: This is a sponsored post by Words to Sweat By but all opinions are my own!  I have not been monetarily compensated.

My daughter has epilepsy.  She is almost 5 now but has been diagnosed since she was 18 months old.
Why am I telling you this?  Well, she goes through a lot.  She is a fighter and the most "normal" almost 5 year old you will ever meet.  As you can tell from this picture, even when we face those occasional challenges, she maintains her spunk and sparkle!

So when Dana at Words to Sweat By contacted me to see if I would be interested in doing a review, I said, "Only if S can do it too!"  And sweet Dana sent us both a bracelet!

Her's is the one on the left and it says "Brave" and mine is the one on the right and says "Just Run."  What a perfect word for her.  If I could use one word to describe little S, it would be BRAVEBold CAPITALIZED and Underlined!  Tell me how many kids you know that don't even flinch when they get a shot or go get blood drawn.  Yes I have to bribe her with stickers and Jamba Juice but she does it.  So her "Brave" bracelet is perfect for her!

Me?  I wanted one that said "Just Run."  When life gets me down or gets too much or I have a lot to process, thats what I do.  "Just Run."  When things don't go my way or there is a certain little girl who doesn't listen, I "Just Run."  It's my solution to most of life.

I loved both the wraps.  S's had little ridges and mine was smooth.  You actually don't even notice them.  That's the best part.  You go about your business, look down and think, "Hey!  Just run."  Like this day when I went to go get Rita's Ice.  (Have you ever tried it?  Sugar filled cold deliciousness)

It is perfect for everyday wear and lightweight enough to keep you motivated during a run!  So S and I bring you a chance to win your own Words to Sweat By bracelet.

  2. Awwwww. It is so hard to watch your child go through something like this (and I can also say that it is hard to watch your mom go through these trials as well). Anything to brighten their day and make them feel more empowered. I'm glad that you found something!

  5. She is a strong little sweetie. Can relate since my 3 year old granddaughter is constantly at medical/pt/etc appointments for her medical (genetic) condition. Somehow they stay happy and loving with all they have to go through. Cyber hugs!

    1. The way I see it, the only thing you can change about any situation is your attitude towards it. So I choose to be positive! Thank you for your words!

  13. I'm not so much of a runner, but I'm really into kettlebells and HIIT workouts. I love the Swing My Bell necklace, so cute! The wrap bracelets are adorable, too, but I think I'd like a custom mantra...just not sure what yet.
