Hiya Friends! I am having a hard time motivating to do much of anything after the three day weekend and these HOT temps. I mean, it has been so ridiculously hot and humid here. (I am SO sorry AZ friends...you must think I am a major turd complaining about 91 degrees!)
Welcome to Dr. Cool's CoolCore technology cooling wearable apparel! You have heard me talk about Dr. Cool's Compression Wraps here and here. Now they bring you actual wearable apparel with cooling power.
From their website: Dr. Cool’s v-neck racer back tank is constructed using a patented chemical-free cooling material designed by Coolcore, to keep you cool and comfortable in style. The versatile design and cooling technology make it the ideal tank for activities ranging from running to yoga or tennis. The sweat activated cooling fabric delivers three distinct functions- wicking, moisture circulation and regulated evaporation- to reduce the tank’s surface temperature by up to 30%. Unlike other cooling technologies this tank is constructed using a chemical-free fabric so it’s cooling qualities never wash out.
So believe me when I tell you I have put this little tank to the test.
I next tried it on Labor Day for a 4 p.m. 91 degree 5 miler with some friends including the wonderful Leslie.
Wore the tank with my new Leaf Ink n Burn shorts. The shorts rode up a little too much for my liking but the shirt? Love it. It truly lives up to its CoolCore promise! Now, of course I have one tank or shirt to giveaway! You can pick a tank or shirt. And they come in black, pink or blue. (Mens and Womens) Enter on the Rafflecopter!

ReplyDeleteI had heard of their shirts but thought, nah, there is no way that works! I love their wraps thanks to you and have one in every size. The highs have been in the 100s lately with humidity that high as well. What is killing me is even getting up at 4 am isn't helping me beat this horrible humidity. Why did i sign up for a fall marathon????
ReplyDeleteIt's HOT here in CT. Yesterday it was 97! I could get a lot of use out of a shirt like this!
ReplyDeleteI live in the south, so yes, it is very hot. I try to stay hydrated.

ReplyDeleteIt is hor here in PA again. Very dry, too. We need some rain and some cooler temperatures. Thanks for the review on the tank! I hadn't heard of this brand before.
ReplyDeleteI either run super early before the heat sets in, or i will run on the treadmill. I hate the heat, I'm a wuss!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip on the running shorts riding up. I find I like the longer inseams better (esp on my 60 year old legs!) ;)
ReplyDeleteYes, it is really hot where I live. I usually try running earlier in the morning when it is cooler or I just use my treadmill.

ReplyDeleteIt is hot and humid where I live too. This week has been a bit refreshing compared to mid-90s everyday last week! I stay cool by running early in the morning.
ReplyDeleteRight now we're in a rare September heatwave here in NY- at least 90 each day for the last few days, where it would normally be 70!! I usually stay cool by drinking a lot of water and resting when my body tells me it's too much! I've heard of cooling apparel before but never tried- can't wait!
ReplyDeleteIt has been in the 90's for almost 10 days in Illinois! Thankfully we get some low 80's for the foreseeable future!
ReplyDeleteIn maine it's not usually uncomfortably hot, but boy it is today! 90 degrees for the 3rd day in a row! And in September! Never tried cooling gear!

ReplyDeleteIt gets hot here, and I have never heard of cooling shirts. I swim to keep cool.
ReplyDeleteThis shirt sounds awesome! I live in Anchorage - you wouldn't think it gets hot here, but it does! We can get up in the 80s and we don't have air conditioning so it's pretty brutal. This would help a lot!
ReplyDeleteI would like to give this to my running friend Amanda in Philadelphia where it is hot and humid!
ReplyDeleteI live in Alabama, so it is definitely hot and humid! One thing I do to stay cool is to hydrate properly. I make sure to take in the appropriate amount of fluids in the days prior. I have also found that eating a popsicle or almost frozen smoothie before my run helps to lower my body temp. This means it takes me a little longer for the heat to warm me up. I have heard of cooling gear.
ReplyDeleteIts so hot and humid here in DC
ReplyDeleteIt's really hot right now and anything that can help keep me cool while working out is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI live in MD, and the summers are HOT! To stay cool, I usually hydrate and wear dri-fit type tanks so I'm not overheated. I'd love to try this tank!
ReplyDeleteThat tank top looks awesome! :]! It's not as hot here as it is in California, but the humidity makes up for it! x_x I discovered the existence of cooling apparel from you! :P
ReplyDeleteIt was SO hot and humid just last week, but now we have Fall temps here in MN. I do like running in the heat, though
ReplyDeleteIt has cooled down but will get hot again! Thank goodness for Ac and some cooling and bamboo clothing I have
ReplyDeleteI live in Chicago. Last week was hot and humid as heck. I needed this shirt!! The Husband has a cool shirt for racing his car. It involves hoses and an ice chest! I have tried sleeves and towels in this material for running. I need this in my life!
ReplyDeleteOOO I want to win. I would love this!
ReplyDeleteI drink lots of water, and try to dress the best I can.
ReplyDeleteI live in Arizona so it is very warm. We keep cool by drinking a lot of water.
ReplyDeleteIt gets humid here so I try to run early before it heats up. I try to stay hydrated to keep cool.

ReplyDeleteThe heat has been brutal here in Virginia but we got a nice taste of fall today! Yey!! I've never heard of cooling clothes, but it sounds great!
ReplyDeleteI'm in Minnesota and it isn't always bad, but it can get there on occasion. I've heard of Dri-Fit although I'm not quite sure it is the same thing. To stay cool, I run early!!
ReplyDeleteIt has not been so hot this week. I like to keep cool with a cooling headband. I like to run as the sun is going down.
