Wednesday #GIVEAWAY Roundup - @GetDrCool #CoolCore Tank / Shirt GIVEAWAY #WinAllThePrizes

Disclaimer: I was sent a Dr. Cool CoolCare tank for review and giveaway purposes.  I have received no other compensation and all opinions are my own!

Hiya Friends!  I am having a hard time motivating to do much of anything after the three day weekend and these HOT temps.  I mean, it has been so ridiculously hot and humid here.  (I am SO sorry AZ friends...you must think I am a major turd complaining about 91 degrees!)

Welcome to Dr. Cool's CoolCore technology cooling wearable apparel!  You have heard me talk about Dr. Cool's Compression Wraps here and here.  Now they bring you actual wearable apparel with cooling power.

From their websiteDr. Cool’s v-neck racer back tank is constructed using a patented chemical-free cooling material designed by Coolcore, to keep you cool and comfortable in style. The versatile design and cooling technology make it the ideal tank for activities ranging from running to yoga or tennis. The sweat activated cooling fabric delivers three distinct functions- wicking, moisture circulation and regulated evaporation- to reduce the tank’s surface temperature by up to 30%. Unlike other cooling technologies this tank is constructed using a chemical-free fabric so it’s cooling qualities never wash out.

So believe me when I tell you I have put this little tank to the test.

On a hot humid day, I decided to try it out for a 5 miler.  And guess what?  I stayed cool!  Well, I should say the black tank didn't make me feel hotter than any where else.

I next tried it on Labor Day for a 4 p.m. 91 degree 5 miler with some friends including the wonderful Leslie.

Wore the tank with my new Leaf Ink n Burn shorts.  The shorts rode up a little too much for my liking but the shirt?  Love it.  It truly lives up to its CoolCore promise!  Now, of course I have one tank or shirt to giveaway!  You can pick a tank or shirt.  And they come in black, pink or blue.  (Mens and Womens) Enter on the Rafflecopter!

The highs have been in the 100s lately with humidity that high as well. What is killing me is even getting up at 4 am isn't helping me beat this horrible humidity. Why did i sign up for a fall marathon????

  21. Right now we're in a rare September heatwave here in NY- at least 90 each day for the last few days, where it would normally be 70!! I usually stay cool by drinking a lot of water and resting when my body tells me it's too much! I've heard of cooling apparel before but never tried- can't wait!

    ReplyDelete

  28. I live in Alabama, so it is definitely hot and humid! One thing I do to stay cool is to hydrate properly. I make sure to take in the appropriate amount of fluids in the days prior. I have also found that eating a popsicle or almost frozen smoothie before my run helps to lower my body temp. This means it takes me a little longer for the heat to warm me up. I have heard of cooling gear.

  29. It's really hot right now and anything that can help keep me cool while working out is wonderful!
