Sunday's Long Run Musings

Every weekend I do a long run ranging from 8 - 13.1 miles. The time during these runs allows my mind to open up to thoughts I wouldn't ordinarily have. Some are private but some are shareable. Every weekend, I would like to share the thoughts with you!

Here are my random long run thoughts:
1.  I think of this Lake as where I "learned" to run. It will always have a special place in my heart.  It is beautiful and there is comfort in knowing it's ins and outs.
2.  Some days though, like today, those fingers in the lake can be so annoying.  See below!
3.  People who know about Hokas LOVE Hokas!  I get compliments and questions about them all the time.
4.  I am an early morning runner.  By that I mean 5:30 a.m.  I like to see the sunrise.  Today, I started at 6:40 a.m. and that was already too late for me.  My run was just off today!
5.  I am so proud of all my friends who ran Ragnar SoCal this weekend.  I wonder if I am up to the challenge.   I could barely eke out 8 miles today!

6.  Blog posts coming up this week: a giveaway sponsored by Made by Shellane , the winner of our Tutu giveaway and the "How & Why" of Starting to Run (thank you TDK for the suggestion).

When do you like to run?  Where do you like to run?  Do you have any topics you would like to see covered here on the Blog?  Email me at RunningwithSDMom@gmail.com

Happy Feet,
Smitha
