lay on the couch and watch Netflix.....and I live in the deep south so flip flops are worn year round so I need one that will hold up
ReplyDeleteAfter a hard run I generally recover in ProCompression socks. When the weather gets warm, though, I don't like to wear the socks for as long, so these would be great!
ReplyDeleteMassages and ice cream. Works for me :)
ReplyDeleteI usually throw on compression socks an re-hydrate with tons of water with Nuun
ReplyDeleteI like to recover by wearing compression socks and drinking a protein shake, but I'd love to try these flip flops too!
ReplyDeleteI've never been much of a flip flop wearer, other than at the beach. These look super comfy, tho!
ReplyDeleteI look for support!!
ReplyDeleteAfter I race I usually try to get a massage, if possible. I've been hearing great things about OOFOS and would love to try them on my poor feet.
ReplyDeleteI recover with compression socks or sleeves and chocolate milk! I've been wanting to try these flip flops for so long! The first thing I want to do after a race is get out of my running shoes!
ReplyDeleteI like to recover with (a cold beer!) my compression sleeves and a nice pair of flip flops.
ReplyDeleteI usually put on my procompression sleeves and the comfiest sandals I have. I've been wanting to try Oofos sandals for a while.
ReplyDeleteI like to make sure I stretch and foam roll a little bit after I run, and then water and good food doesn't hurt too! My sandals have to be both supportive and comfortable.......I think OOFOS fit that bill?
ReplyDeleteI've been curious about Oofos. I look for softness & comfort, as well as a flip flop that I won't slip & slide in if it gets wet.
ReplyDeleteI love comfort and support! These look great
ReplyDeleteI love Epsom salt soaks and hydrating better
ReplyDeleteWould love to try their new slippers
Would love to win! Definitely in need of flip flops that offer more support!
ReplyDeleteI usually use compression socks as post-race recovery. But I was just looking at these sandals this weekend! I need an alternative to the socks. I also need a different summer sandal. I am looking for sandals/flip flops that offer some type of support. I think the inexpensive, no support flip flops that I'm wearing are probably killing my feet.
ReplyDeleteI love my Oofos! Slipping into those comfy flops after a long run brings such relief to me feet! I didn't know they came out with a slimmer design for women - like them a lot! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThis is the second or third review I've read of oofos and I'm thinking I MUST WIN THESE. I MUST HAVE THEM. :)
ReplyDeleteI recover with chocolate almond milk, foam rolling and stretching!
I recover with something yummy to drink ;) and I prefer my sandals with a little cushion!
ReplyDeleteI rest; look for comfort in a flip flop.
ReplyDeleteAfter a race, a nice long hot bath and I look for support and style in a flip flop
ReplyDeletecrocs but I'd love to try oofos
ReplyDeleteI don't run in races but I sure love comfy sandals and am in dire need of a new pair so I will look for these - thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI love my Oofos! I want flip flop style too, if I don't win them, I will go out and buy them!
ReplyDeleteI usually have on compression socks so flip flops are tough but I bought my first pair of oofos in February and they've been working well.
ReplyDeleteHydrating after a race or long run is key. I always look for some support and especially comfort in a flip flop.
ReplyDeleteI like a change of clothes and flip flops that don't give me blisters of foot chafing! I also put my feet up and go for coconut water and banana until my stomach calms down!
ReplyDeleteI like to have some protein. I look for style and comfort in a sandal.
ReplyDeleteI love the OOFOS sandals because it feels like I am walking on air, and I look for style and comfort in a sandal!
ReplyDeleteI need new flops :)
ReplyDeleteNothing beats taking your hot sweaty dogs out of your running shoes and into a pair of flip flops after a hard race. These put my $5 CVS rubber chunkla's to shame! haha!
ReplyDeleteStretching after a race for sure!
ReplyDeletestyle and comfort in any shoe!
I just relax and watch tv.
ReplyDeleteI rest and stretch. Drink lots of water.
ReplyDeleteMy flip flops need to support my feet.
ReplyDeleteHow do you like to recover after a race? Long hot bath
What do you look for in a flip flop?
confortable that doesn't rub btwn my toes
I like to drink an ice cold beer or a bottle of champagne :) I need a good pair of recovery flip flops! Love the sleeker style of these!
ReplyDeleteFlorida summer runs are always hot and humid. It's great to take the running shoes off after a long run, throw on some sandals, and eat a nice breakfast with the running group!
ReplyDeleteIt depends on the race. After I ran a marathon, I took the next day off work and just stayed home, doing nothing. I could barely move at that point...after a 5k, on the other hand, I don't need much of a break. I just live life like normal after the race.
ReplyDeleteI like to recover with a nice long, warm shower. Flip flops are an awesome way to let your feet relax too. I like one's that don't chafe between the toes and have some cushion to them.
ReplyDeleteI would love a pair of these! I think my Fit Flops have seen there better days! I love to get a pedicure after a race- the leg massage is the best!
ReplyDeleteI look for flip flops that have more support in them these days. I have learned now to spend the money on a good pair, Your feet will thank you! What an awesome giveaway Smitha! -M
ReplyDeleteAlthough mentally I really just want to sit on the couch and eat ice cream after a hard race, physically I find it best to walk around - working on my garden is the best! Flip flips need arch support for me!
ReplyDelete...Copious amounts of food. :D
ReplyDeleteFor me, comfort is key! :]
compression, elevation, and then walking it out. plus lots of fluids! oh- and big time flip flop person. I haven't tried oofos yet but I'm dying to! I like arch support the most.
ReplyDeleteFor me, it's all about comfort!
ReplyDeleteI stretch and sit in the jet tub....in a flip flop I want it sturdy enough that things don't poke me through the bottom!! Hubby has a pair of OOfos and I have put them on....I want my own!!!
ReplyDeleteWith a foot massage. Comfort and durability is what I like in a flip flop.
ReplyDeleteI look for flip flops that have support, because the cheap ones that have no shape just end up hurting ?my feet!
ReplyDeleteThese look super comfy! Great after a long run!
ReplyDeleteI have been wanting to try these !
ReplyDeleteI like to soak my feet. For flip flops, I look for flexibility and comfort.
ReplyDeleteI take a long hot shower.
ReplyDeleteI love flip flops! I tried on some Oofas recently and they were like walking on lovely clouds! They seemed perfect for a post run recovery!
ReplyDeleteI need a nice long shower!
ReplyDeletedeannankeller@yahoo.com
Like to catch up on some reading, need a durable flip flop, not a cheap one
ReplyDeleteI normally rock Reefs (since the hubby works for them and I have a huge stock pile :) ), but I know they aren't "recovery" sandals...
ReplyDeleteI really prefer comfort in a flip flop.
ReplyDeleteAfter a race I like a bath in Epson salts.
CEP compression post race is essential!
ReplyDeleteA bath and good looking flip flops
ReplyDeleteI look for something comfortable, and casual..
ReplyDeleteNathansmommy619(at)aol(dot)com
I don't typically run races, so I wouldn't need to recover haha. As for the flip flops, I look for something comfy that won't give me tons of blisters and provide a little support!
ReplyDeleteDef a foam roller type of person. In the winter I like wearing Uggs post race (east coast), but summertime is def sandals post run.
ReplyDeleteThose look great. I don't usually find flip flops comfortable. It is weird as I am a barefoot person at home and often work out barefoot (at home). But I feel flip flops usually lack support yet are not as natural as barefoot either. I found a pair I like, but these look very comfy. Re: recovery I like sleep, foam rolling and a rest day or two a week.
ReplyDeleteFlip flops must be comfortable, cute and reasonably durable!
ReplyDeleteHonestly after a race I like to go to brunch, then just keep walking to ease the inevitable stiffness! I'm so bad about flip flops, I literally only ever get the cheap ones that are not providing me any support :/
ReplyDeleteI look for comfort and stability in flip flops.
ReplyDeleteI recover by wearing compression socks and drinking a lot of water! I definitely look for comfort in my flip flops. Living in Florida, I wear the pretty much every day.
ReplyDeleteMy normal recovery is a chocolate milk, a banana, and compression sleeves. I don't sit still long since I know I'll freeze up, but some sandals would be great to let my toes breathe and help keep me on the move. I look for comfort and non-slip bottoms on my sandals... I've 1 too many near slips and I don't like fearing falling when I'm in recovery mode.
ReplyDeleteThe new ones look SO much cuter! YAY!
ReplyDeleteI have really small feet, so usually, I'm just looking for flip-flops that FIT!
ReplyDeleteI always recover with compression socks. They feel so good after a long run!
ReplyDeleteI like to put on a comfy pair of socks, rub my knees with muscle salve, and sit back with my feet up.
ReplyDeleteI like my flip flops to be comfortable and cute.
ReplyDeleteAfter a race I hydrate & eat fruiyt & do plenty of YOGA stretching what I liik for in a flip flop is cush I don't want to FEEL the hot pavement under my feet
ReplyDeleteA soak is always a great way to recover. And in a flip flop, I look for comfort!
ReplyDeleteLove a nice glass of wine and just relax if I'm able to :) . Love flip-flops to have cushion!
ReplyDeleteI look for study thick flip flops now. For years I've been wearing thin ones and now my feet are starting to hurt. I need more support.
ReplyDeleteI like arch support in a flip flop.
ReplyDeleteGlass of hot chocolate and a hot shower are best ways to recover after a run. These flip flops look amazing!
ReplyDeleteI haven't worked up to entering a race... yet! Comfort is important in all my shoes, including flip flops.
ReplyDeleteResting on the couch with netflix - and in a flip flop I look for comfort and durability
ReplyDeleteA nice shower after, and a pair of comfy shoes. I look for comfort in a flip flop
ReplyDeleteI look for comfort and support in a flip flop
ReplyDeleteI like to relax outside with a glass of wine post marathon
ReplyDeleteI look for a very comfortable flip flop. I have a bad back so I also need something supportive.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway! =)
stay hydrated and walking around
ReplyDeleteI look for comfort and fit.
Relaxing with friends for a sweaty pic is a great release. I look for comfort in flip flops, and I like the thong style.
ReplyDeletesavewish@yahoo.com
I always relax wit a good book after a un. As for flip flops I look for quality and comfort.
ReplyDeleteI havent participated in a race yet, I just started a fitness routine this year.
ReplyDeleteChocolate milk is the best way to go!
ReplyDeleteI usually stretch/do some yoga after a race, and for flip-flops I look for secure fastenings for the strap thingy. It's never fun when you are out shopping/walking and it breaks off and you have to walk funny or hop...
ReplyDeleteI like a flip-flop with good support, without it I have backaches and foot issues.
ReplyDeletei like a nice soak in a jacuzzi, then splurge with a little red wine.
ReplyDeleteI like soaking my feet. I like wearing flip flops -- however, I need to find one that offers some support in the arches too. These sound great.
ReplyDeleteAfter I race (if I actually ran one) I think I would go for a long soak in a hot tub or sauna and for the flippers I like a good sole and non pinching thing between your toes.
ReplyDeleteAfter a race- the best is taking off my sneakers and flip-flops for sure...then a nice beer.
ReplyDeleteI always wear my birkenstocks, but those would be great b/c I get blisters on my bunions & those wouldn't touch my blisters :).
ReplyDeleteRecovery = legs-up-the wall yoga pose! (After a good meal and a shower!)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing to do after a race is have a beer or a glass of wine, because I deserve it. My flip flops have to be comfy!!
ReplyDeleteI look for comfort and support when I buy flip flops.
ReplyDeleteChampagne! Then, a shower and a nap.
ReplyDeleteI don't usually wear flip flops, as most are flimsy, provide no support, and detrain your muscles. (You grip them with your toes, which is the opposite muscle mechanics of a normal step.) If I'm wearing thong-style recovery shoes, it has to be something like these or like my Birks--support for your foot, no need to grip.
I like to drink lots of water or Gatorade after a race. My flip flops must be comfy since I have an issue with my left knee.
ReplyDeleteI look for the flip flop to be sturdy because I have bought flip flops that just don't last.
ReplyDeleteI have never been in a race but I have worn flip flops and I think comfort is the main thing I look for in anything I wear on my feet including flipflops.
ReplyDeleteSarah Oswald
plenty of water and a whole day to relax after,,and i like flip flops with no piece between the toes!!
ReplyDeleteI use compression socks to recover after long races. I only have Old Navy flip flops. I'd love to try these out!
ReplyDeleteI look for arch support - hard to find in a flip flop.
ReplyDeleteI'm still pretty new to running, but after long runs, I like compression socks, lots of water, and eventually and epsom salt bath. I've heard about these shoes and would love to try them!
ReplyDeleteThese flip flops look pretty sturdy, I hate when they fall apart after only wearing them a few times!
ReplyDeleteSometimes I like to use a nap as the best way to recover from a long run, LOL.. Flipflops are awesome, thanks for linking up with us!
ReplyDeleteI love to slip into a pair of kooshie socks and sandals or shoes with extra cushion.
ReplyDeleteI look for comfort and durability in flipflops.
ReplyDeleteRest, hot bath, and massage. My flip flops have to have a soft bed for my feet and not want to keep flipping off my feet when I walk.
ReplyDeleteBeen a while bu I would use compression then soak in tub
ReplyDeleteI ewcover by floppiing on the ground and guzzling water. OK, I just walk slow and sweat after.
ReplyDeleteellen beck on form
After a race, I love to get in the pool, since I'm too weenie for a real ice bath. I also drink some P90X Recovery Drink to keep the muscle soreness down and I have to eat everything in sight! For flip flops, I want something comfortable, something that I don't have to work to keep on my feet and straps that don't rub blisters!
ReplyDeleteas far as a flip flop - I am all about comfort. I hate when they tear your skin in between your toes. Its so hard to find a flip flop that will be cozy
ReplyDeleteNice cold drink and then a very cool shower.
ReplyDeleteAfter a race I like to take a cold shower. For flip flops, I look for very comfortable ones.
ReplyDeletedurable and comfy!! lots of water and a good massage
