I have to tell you, when I received the Vega Mocha recovery protein powder in the mail, I was skeptical. I am not a chocolate person. If there is a choice between chocolate cake or vanilla, chocolate ice cream or vanilla, I will always choose vanilla. I am a HUGE fan of the Vega One French Vanilla. It is my go-to! But I knew I had to give it a chance. It is Vega so it had to be good right?
Then I got to thinking...what goes really well with chocolate? Yup! Mint! Fresh mint! And then I was off collecting ingredients for a smoothie. Well, I put D to task collecting ingredients for the smoothie!
Got to keep idle hands busy!
That is it. 5 ingredients for a perfectly delicious Mocha Mint smoothie to start your day!
3 ice cubes
1 cup vanilla unsweetened almond milk
1 package Emergen-C (any flavor - you won't even taste it!)
1 scoop Vega Sport Mocha protein smoothie
And then, the best ingredient of all. A handful of fresh mint!
Blend and enjoy!
Super good! Maybe blend some ice coffee in there too for a caffeine boost!
