2015 was an AMAZING year for me and my family. My sweet S did not have one single seizure in 2015 which means we found the medication that works and she is thriving!
Okay, my New Years Resolutions for all things in life are simple. I have two.
1. Listen to my body.
This is an easy one. Trust my gut, literally and figuratively. Legs hurt? Stop running. Tummy cramp? Don't eat gluten. Heart broken? Let that thing go! In 2016, I will trust in me and do what I feel is right.
2. Be Kind to Others; Be Helpful.
I want to help others. More than raising money for Epilepsy. I want to do every day little things that help the greater good and I am going to make a conscious effort to do this.
I want to be a better mother, wife, friend, daughter, sister and all I have to do is turn up the kindness! But it doesn't stop there. Strangers, clients, friends of friends...it has to start somewhere.
And my new motto for 2016? "First Grab Coffee and Then the World!"
Pretty awesome right? To me it means: Take a minute to yourself, take a deep breath and go for it! And my new Alley & Rae shirt and mug sum it up perfectly!
I am super excited that I found a company that makes a shirt AND a mug to match my message!
From their website: All of our products are handmade in Utah and California. Our mission is to spread positivity and create clothing that speaks to you. We want each piece to make a statement or tell a story about the person that wears it. We love to incorporate bright colors, fun graphics and encouraging messages into our designs. All of our clothing is printed on sweatshop-free apparel, made in the USA and packaged with eco-friendly materials in an ongoing effort to support sustainability.
I have used my mug about 14 times! No exaggeration! Haha!
So guess what? I am giving one of you the chance to win a t-shirt from Alley & Rae AND your choice of mug! Choose your own motto! Your own destiny for 2016! Ready? Enter on the Rafflecopter! First GIVEAWAY of 2016!
