Smoothie King Challenge - #ChangeAMeal (Never Skip Breakfast)

We all make New Year's Resolutions.  Even if we don't think we do, we do.  Like, I am going to try to be more patient.  Or I am getting this project done at work.  Whatever it is, we all make little promises to ourselves.  Well my little promise in 2016 is to NEVER SKIP BREAKFAST.  Breakfast is king!  I was pretty good about this in 2015 but I am sticking to it in 2016.


Here is the problem though.  I don't always have time to make breakfast in the morning.  And I don't want just any breakfast.  I want protein, carbs and fats.  All the good stuff.


Smoothie King to the rescue.  They have a variety of meal replacement smoothies, all under 400 calories for a 20 oz serving.  They have a minimum of 10 grams of protein and 35 grams of carbs.


Smoothie King has 20 Meal Replacement Smoothies that span Slim, Fitness, and Wellness blends, all with the goal of helping you reach your goal of a healthier lifestyle.*  I LOVE the Lean 1 Vanilla!  It has protein powder, a banana, almonds and water.  That is it.  And it kept me full all through my morning meeting from 7:30 a.m. until noon.  All that protein and fiber kept me nice and full!


Not the most pleasant looking but the taste was just right.  Not too sweet and you could actually taste the almonds in the smoothie.
