#WeeklyWrap: MovinShoes, Epilepsy Fundraising & a St. Paddy's Tradition

Happy Monday!  I sincerely hope that this week is a LOT better than last week!  I am feeling positive and energetic this week!  Let's keep it going!

Starting with St. Patrick's Day.  I am not Irish but I love it.  I love traditions and getting the kids involved.  Every year, we make a trap for our resident leprechaun, Fergus McDougal and every year, he gets by us.  But he ALWAYS leaves us a box of super sugary Lucky Charms.  Our once a year treat!

This week also brought a run with the Movin Shoes Saturday Run Group!  These people are awesome.  If you find yourself near Encinitas or Pacific Beach on a Saturday at 7:00 a.m. and looking for great people to run with, these are them!

And they run super scenic routes and go your own pace and distance!

And definitely treat yo'self to coffee afterwards at Better Buzz Coffee!

I had the Honey Latte and it is DIVINE!

Where was I?  Oh more coffee...I woke up on Sunday with another awesome cup of coffee and beautiful tulips from a good friend to get myself geared up for the Epilepsy Foundation Fundraiser.

And I will say that our fundraiser was a HUGE success thanks to our dear family, friends and raffle donors!  Awesome awesome awesome!

It is not too late to donate!  You have until April 17th to donate and join the team.  An awesome 5K happening right here in SD and super kid friendly to boot!

And finally, I am linking up with the Weekly Wrap hosted by HoHo Runs and MissSippiPiddlin and also with Megan!

How was your week last week?  Are you hoping for better this week like I am?  I only ran 3 miles last week so gotta get in gear for this week!

As always, I wish you Happy Feet,
SD Mom

  6. Better Buzz is a great name for a coffee shop! Your St. Paddy's day tradition is very cute. Frosted Lucky Charms...they're magically delicious! (I think I know every jingle from the 70s & 80s.) I'm curious, how does one try to trap a leprechaun? Thanks for linking with us SD.

  7. Sounds like you had a great week - love your Lucky Charms tradition. Although, my boyfriend tells me that in the 70s they were much MUCH tastier than they were in the late 80s/early 90s... I wonder if that's true?
