Running Quotes and Words from the Wise - GIVEAWAY!

I love me a good motivational quote!  There are so many good quotes out there.  I especially love signs I see at races.  Some of them are so motivating, I have been known to step up my pace a little bit.  But you know where I haven't seen a good motivating quote?  On a Runner!  You fast runners out there probably don't realize how inspirational you are to the rest of us middle or back of the pack runners.  But think how inspirational you could be if YOU WERE the sign I was looking for?  As my friend Tim likes to say, "Be the Inspiration!"

I asked Tim, the founder of Words from the Wise how he picked his quotes.  His response: "As far as picking the slogans, I spent a lot of time searching inspirational quotes.  I didn't want them to be completely running specific though. I really believe that people from all walks of life are inspired by things they see and read every day. I want to put as much positive thinking out in the world as I possibly can, and runners are the perfect carriers for that positive thinking. Most people look at my inspirational quote shirts and only think of how it motivates them. The real purpose for me is not only for it to motivate them, but also to help motivate random people that they'll never even know they've helped. You can do a lot of great things in a lifetime if you don't care who gets the credit."

I am inspired just by his words.  Really, think about that.  You don't know who is running behind you thinking they want to quit and then they see you in your shirt that reads, "It doesn't matter how SLOWLY you go, as long as YOU DON'T STOP!"

The shirt then becomes bigger than you!  It becomes the thing that helped a complete stranger fulfil their goals!

In gray just like this shirt!  The other thing I love about these shirts is how soft and comfortable they are.  The men's shirts come in gray and yellow and the women's come in gray, yellow & pink.  I asked Tim about his choice of colors too: "I think the brighter, the better, not only because they look cool but also because it's safer for runners to be seen when running out on the streets. I picked the gray just because I knew some people don't like to wear flashy colors so I just wanted a neutral option."
